Co-Creative projects, Sound and Energy work,
Consultancy and One to One
I love working on co-creative and collaborative projects. It has led me on many adventures in different countries, working with both adults and children.
I was asked in by Alluna, an inspiring company of European dancers lead by Marie Motais in France. They asked me to work with them creatively through sound as they were exploring and developing their identity as a company.
The focus of Alluna is dancing with the earth and they bring generosity, love and passionate beauty to this offering. We explored depth of listening, connection and giving voice to their dance in ever deepening, honest ways of showing up for each other. We supported the dance with bodywork, chanting and ceremony. The improvisations were glorious.
I do sometimes collaborate on retreat events, singing live with musicians and creating spontaneous responsive music for dancers. An example of this is a week long 5 Rhythms workshop where I was also able to teach daily singing workshops.
All these collaborations are deeply satisfying because we create together in new, surprising and trusting ways. My work is really to be a gateway for the sound.
Co-creative projects.
This is about exploring your connection and co-creation as a group working together. Singing and moving together has great potential to harmonise as a group and inspire creating. It’s also a great way to have fun as you deepen your relationships, come up with new ideas and honour each other’s contributions.
The Find Your LoveSong workshop is a good insight into the potential of this approach.
Space Clearing and Tuning spaces vibrationally through sound.
Essentially this is the work of supporting clients’ relationships with their space. It involves tuning in to what’s going on with a space. Does it feel neglected or uncomfortable, does the energy seem to be stagnant? Does your space need to feel loved, energised, more of a home, more of a sacred space?
Once the purpose for a place is understood and a relationship with it is being built, we begin tuning with sound and energy techniques including voice, rattle, drum, bells and Tibetan bowls. We also work with space clearing and Tibetan mantras. Often helpful with a workplace or practice space. The White Tara CD works beautifully to tune spaces vibrationally and is available at the movement medicine shop
